The Prototype: A Real Website, Not a Mockup
When we say "free prototype," we don't mean a screenshot in a PDF. We don't mean a Figma file you can't interact with. We mean a fully functional, interactive website — hosted on a real URL, accessible from any device, ready for you to click around and share.
This is the core of how Wildcore works. We show you what we can build before you spend anything. If you like it, we move forward. If you don't, you've lost nothing.
What's Included in the Prototype
Design and Layout
- Custom homepage with your business name, branding colors, and industry-appropriate imagery
- 1-3 sample interior pages showing what a full site could look like (e.g., About, Services, Contact)
- Mobile-responsive design — works on phones, tablets, laptops, and desktops
- Professional typography and color palette chosen to match your brand identity
Functionality
- Real navigation — click between pages, scroll through sections
- Interactive elements — buttons, hover effects, image galleries, accordions
- Contact forms (visual only — form submissions activate after purchase)
- Maps and location info if relevant to your business
Hosting
- Live URL — your prototype is hosted at a real web address (e.g.,
yourbusiness.vercel.app) that you can share with anyone - No login required — anyone with the link can view it
What's NOT Included in the Prototype
The prototype is a preview, not a finished product. Here's what gets added during the paid build phase:
- Your custom domain (e.g.,
yourbusiness.com) — connected after purchase - Working form submissions — contact forms, quote requests, booking forms
- Real content — your actual copy, photos, team bios, menu items, etc.
- Payment processing — online ordering, checkout, payment integrations
- SEO configuration — meta tags, structured data, sitemap, analytics
- Email setup — professional email at your domain
- Third-party integrations — booking systems, review widgets, social feeds
How Long Does the Prototype Stay Up?
The prototype stays live indefinitely. We don't take it down if you decide not to move forward. It remains at its URL as a reference for as long as our hosting infrastructure supports it.
That said, prototypes are hosted on a shared preview platform. They're not optimized for production traffic or SEO — that's what the real build is for.
Can I Request Changes to the Prototype?
The prototype is built based on our research and best judgment. We don't typically do revision rounds on the free prototype itself — that's what the paid build phase is for.
However, if you like the general direction but want specific things changed (different color scheme, different layout approach, etc.), we're happy to discuss that before you commit to a tier. Sometimes a quick conversation is all it takes to align on the vision.
What Happens After I See the Prototype?
You have three options:
- Love it? Choose a build tier, pay your deposit, and we'll start turning the prototype into your finished website.
- Like the direction but want changes? Tell us what you'd like different. We'll factor that into the build phase.
- Not for you? No problem. No awkward follow-up calls, no guilt trips, no invoices. The prototype is genuinely free.
How Is the Prototype Built So Fast?
Two things make 48-hour delivery possible:
- AI-assisted research and development — We use AI tools to accelerate competitor analysis, content drafting, and initial code generation.
- Modern development tools — Our tech stack (Next.js, React, Tailwind CSS) is designed for rapid iteration. We can build production-quality layouts in hours, not weeks.
The speed doesn't come at the expense of quality. Every prototype is reviewed by a human designer before it's sent to you.
