How does the Wildcore process work?

The Full Journey, Step by Step

We've designed the Wildcore process to be as straightforward as possible. No confusing proposals, no drawn-out discovery phases, no meetings that could have been emails. Here's exactly what happens from the moment you reach out to the day your site goes live — and beyond.

Step 1: Tell Us About Your Business

Time: ~60 seconds

Fill out the contact form with the basics:

  • Your business name and what you do
  • Your website (if you have one)
  • Any rough ideas or preferences you have

That's it. You can also book a free 15-minute intro call if you prefer to talk it through. But the form is all we need to get started.

Step 2: We Research and Build Your Prototype

Time: 48 hours

Once we have your info, we go to work. Here's what happens behind the scenes:

  1. Research — We look at your business, your competitors, your industry, and your local market. We study what's working for similar businesses and what isn't.
  2. Design — We choose a visual direction that fits your brand: colors, typography, imagery, layout, and overall feel.
  3. Build — We construct a real, interactive website prototype. Not a screenshot — a fully functional site hosted on a live URL.

You don't pay anything for this. Zero. The prototype is our way of showing you exactly what we can do, with no risk on your end.

Step 3: Review Your Prototype

Time: As long as you need

We send you a private link to your prototype. Here's what you should do:

  • Click around — every page, every section, every button
  • Check it on your phone — it's fully responsive
  • Share it — send it to your business partner, your spouse, your most opinionated friend
  • Take your time — there's no deadline, no pressure, no salesperson following up

If you love it, move to Step 4. If you're not feeling it, no hard feelings. The prototype stays up as a free reference.

Step 4: Choose Your Build Tier

Time: 5 minutes

When you're ready to move forward, you'll choose a build tier:

Tier Price Best For
Starter $199 Solo operators, one landing page
Standard $699 Growing businesses, up to 5 pages
Premium $1,499 Established businesses, up to 10 pages
Enterprise $2,499+ Complex needs, custom scope

We also offer bundle packages that combine a build tier with managed hosting at a discount. See What bundle packages are available? for details.

Payment plans available for every tier:

  • Pay in full
  • 2-pay (50% / 50%)
  • 3-pay (34% / 33% / 33%)
  • Deposit + balance (non-refundable deposit to start, remainder on delivery)

See What are the pricing tiers? for the full breakdown.

Step 5: Finalize and Build

Time: 3 days to 4 weeks (depending on tier)

Once you've paid your deposit, the real build begins:

  1. Content gathering — We'll ask you for your real content: logos, photos, copy, service descriptions, team bios, etc. The more you give us, the better the final product.
  2. Revisions — We iterate on the prototype based on your feedback. Most clients go through 2-3 rounds of revisions.
  3. Final review — You get a staging link to review the near-final site before anything goes live.

What Can Affect the Timeline?

  • Content delays — If it takes a while to get your photos, copy, or brand assets, the build pauses until we have what we need.
  • Revision rounds — More feedback means more iterations, which takes more time.
  • Custom integrations — Booking systems, online ordering, payment processors, etc. add complexity.
  • Domain transfers — If your domain is registered elsewhere, DNS propagation can take 24-48 hours.

Step 6: Launch Day

Time: Usually same-day once approved

Once you approve the final site, we:

  • Connect your custom domain
  • Set up SSL (the lock icon in the browser)
  • Configure email if included in your plan
  • Set up analytics and SEO essentials
  • Run a final performance and mobile check
  • Push it live

You'll get a confirmation with everything that's been set up and how to access your site's analytics.

Step 7: Ongoing Support

Time: As long as you're a client

After launch, your managed hosting plan covers:

  • Uptime monitoring
  • Security updates
  • Performance optimization
  • Content updates (depending on your plan tier)
  • Priority support

See What managed hosting plans are available? for details on what's included at each level.
